Following talks between the leaders of the two countries, Eritrea would withdraw its forces from an Ethiopian border region.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said in a statement on Friday that Eritrea’s government had decided to withdraw its forces from the Ethiopian border
“The Ethiopian National Defense Force will take over guarding the border areas effective immediately.”
