Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has named Peggy Serame, the country’s trade minister, to replace Thapelo Matsheka as finance minister, the president’s office announced late Friday.
The move is effective immediately, according to a statement from Masisi’s office, which did not include an explanation.
